To be an ECEP trainer, you must:

• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in one of the following areas:
  • Early childhood education.
  • Elementary education.
  • Special education.
  • Communication disorders with an early childhood endorsement.
  • Human growth and development.
  • Family and consumer sciences with an emphasis in child development.
• Have two years of experience working with children birth to age five
• Be a verified trainer in the TAPP Registry.
• Attend a Train-the-Trainer workshop.
• Continue an ongoing relationship with ECEP staff through training and attending training.

If you would like more information on becoming an ECEP Trainer, contact NeCol Wilson.  Potential trainers may submit an application with resume and transcript to NeCol.
