Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Arkansas. She has served in various teaching roles with children ranging in age from infancy to preschool. She recently completed her coursework and thesis on the effects of book format on joint book reading interactions of parents and preschoolers for a Master of Science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences at the University of Arkansas. Jennifer served as a teaching assistant and research associate during her graduate career and as part-time instructor in the School of Human Environmental Sciences teaching Life Span Development. Currently, Jennifer is involved in writing, creating and implementing professional development materials for early childhood educators with regard to the use of electronic book formats with young children as well as the courses she oversees for the Early Care and Education Projects that are trained throughout the state of Arkansas. Jennifer is involved in many professional organizations such as the Arkansas Early Childhood Association where she will serve as Historian in 2015.
